Buster Posey managed to get his bat stuck in the protective netting behind home plate
Baseball bats can be used for a great many things. You can flip them, relieve stress through snapping them, admire your selfie skills with them, even trip hilariously over them. During Saturday's wild 5-4 victory over the Dodgers, Buster Posey added yet another usage to the bat's ever-expanding repertoire: magician. Look on in wonder, as it flies through the air and suspends itself in mid-flight:
As you might imagine, the bat wasn't all that easy to get down: Staff at the ballpark had to wait until the end of the inning, when one brave soul armed with a heavy-duty ladder freed it from its perch. And while his original bat had acquired the powers of Spiderman, Posey would switch things up before he walked the Giants off a winner.
