Bryce Harper hit his first Spring Training homer and it was satisfying and loud
Few sounds signify the return of baseball each spring more powerfully than the crack of the bat. Solidly-squared contact between a player's swing and an incoming baseball is one of the most enjoyable aesthetic elements of the game.
During the Nats' 6-2 victory over the Tigers at FITTEAM Ballpark of Palm Beaches on Sunday, attendees were treated to another "first" of Spring Training: Bryce Harper's first homer of 2018. And yes, it sounded glorious:
Bask in it -- that's a sound that doesn't ever get old.
