By their very nature, triple plays are pretty exciting. Getting three outs on one play? That's just inherently cool.
For Brewers starter
Carter then stepped on the first-base bag to double up
This is now the second triple-play turned by Milwaukee this season, the first coming back on April 26 with -- wait for it -- Davies on the mound:
There probably isn't a sabermetric evaluation pointing to a pitcher's triple play probability, but if there was it seems logical to assume Davies would be the stat king in said category for individual players, with the White Sox pitching staff taking the top spot this season.
Zach Davies is Mr. Triple Play. Both of the Brewers' triple plays this season have come with him on the mound.

Also used to triple plays by now? Carter:
Chris Carter has started only 377 games in the Majors and has been part of four triple plays. 2012 OAK, 2015 HOU and a pair in 2016 w/ MIL.
