Bradley Zimmer delivered an absolute strike to throw out Jon Jay at home plate

It's no secret that the cold makes baseball a bit harder. The baseball gets a bit harder to grip, which complicates things like pitching and making throws in the field.
It seems that these principles don't apply to Bradley Zimmer. Despite 32-degree temperatures for Sunday's game against the Royals, the Indians center fielder delivered a perfect throw to home to throw out Jon Jay and end the top of the third inning:

There's probably not a more reliable way to pump up your pitcher than to save a run. It certainly worked for Mike Clevinger.

Thanks to Zimmer's throw the score remained tied, 0-0, and spirits were high despite the frigid temperatures in Cleveland. Like a warm cup of hot chocolate, a great throw can make one forget about the cold.
