Aaron Boone slept at Yankee Stadium following Friday's 14-inning game
The crazy showdown between the Orioles and Yankees on Friday night left a lot of us wondering what was going to happen next. The 14-inning roller coaster was obviously a long one -- so long, in fact, Aaron Boone mentioned he actually spent the night at Yankee Stadium once it was over.
That's right, the Yankees skipper slumbered at his workplace following the game that lasted more than five hours:
"I actually stayed here last night," he said in a news conference on Saturday. "We had so much going on."
And if you can believe it, he got a good night's sleep, despite the fact that it "did come quick." And it seemed to be beneficial. The Yankees defeated the Orioles, 8-3, on Saturday.
Some people can be comfortable anywhere.
