B.J. Upton is a duck whisperer
The Pirates shut out Atlanta, 6-0, at PNC Park on Friday, but we're calling fowl foul play. Pittsburgh had two extra players on the field: a pair of ducks.
The birds aren't at all bothered by the commotion of the baseball game going on around them -- they seem perfectly content to hang out with a bemused B.J. Upton in center field. How much would those tickets cost a human? I am more than willing to disguise myself in an elaborate pigeon costume if that's what it takes to score on-field seats.
We hope our fine feathered friends stick around for Saturday evening's game, too. What harm did a bird ever do?
