Bears Hall of Fame RB Gale Sayers throws out first pitch, sings at Wrigley Field

If there's anything on this planet or any other that Cubs fans love as much as their beloved baseball club, it's when Chicago greats appear at Wrigley Field to cheer on the Cubbies and sing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game."

Wrigley's faithful were treated to a heavy dose of both on Friday as the home team bested the Braves 5-4 (thanks to a walk-off hit from Justin Ruggiano).

The in-game entertainment was provided by Chicago Bears Hall of Fame running back Gale Sayers, who also threw out the first pitch before the game (after warming up with Cubs reliever Justin Grimm).

Sayers won the NFL's Rookie of the Year Award in 1965 and led the league in rushing twice before his incredible career was shortened by knee injuries. Before Friday's game, Sayers threw out the first pitch for the Cubs and then led the traditional singing of "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" during the seventh inning stretch.
