Barry Bonds showed off his old Gold Glove skills with a pregame basket catch
It's been 10 years since Barry Bonds last played in a Major League game. He might have been known more for his late-career exploits at the plate, but back in his prime, few outfielders were better defenders than Bonds. After all, he took home eight Gold Glove Awards in the 1990s.
So, while visiting the Giants prior to their Friday night game against the Phillies, Bonds decided to give the fans a little reminder of his old defensive prowess.
I think I still got it. What do you guys think? ⚾️ @SFGiants pic.twitter.com/2fECyUpdlw

Not bad, Barry.
It's hardly a surprise that he's still so skilled at such plays, though. The similar catch that his godfather, Willie Mays, made in the 1954 World Series is arguably the most famous in baseball history.
