Astros reporter Julia Morales had some fun in the A's giant Dennis Eckersley costume
The Astros had some fun in Oakland the past few days. On Thursday, they beat the A's, 7-3, to wrap up a sweep and pick up their eighth consecutive win and improve to an MLB-best 26-11 on the road this season.
Julia Morales, the Astros' field reporter and a host for AT&T SportsNet, also had a good time during the team's trip to the Bay. Before Thursday's win, she snapped a great candid dugout photo of

And prepared for her big moment -- literally -- when she went through the process of trying on the A's giant Dennis Eckersley costume (the one that races alongside oversized Rickey Henderson and oversized Rollie Fingers for jumbo legendary player bragging rights).

As you'll see in the clip atop this post, Morales did a great job handling the massive weight of the giant Eck head and the bulkiness of the costume. Seeing how much goes into actually wearing this thing, it's a pretty impressive undertaking.
Thanks to the @Athletics for making my dreams come true. 🙏🏻🤣 I’ll be ready to take down some HOFers when we come back in August. pic.twitter.com/4gUn08ULWp

For those keeping score at home, Morales has now worn one of the A's costumes and enjoyed (?) toasted grasshoppers at Safeco Field.
We look forward to her next AL West adventure ...
