Asdrubal Cabrera got caught in an epic rundown and then … he got tired and said bye

In the bottom of the first inning of Thursday's Tigers-Mets game, Asdrubal Cabrera was picked off first and caught in a rundown. And it was a fun rundown (fundown?) -- with the Mets shortstop ducking down to avoid a tag and drawing at least three throws from Detroit's infielders. But then, well, Cabrera got tired and said, bye guys:

Smart call, Asdrubal. Best to save the good stuff for the season.
