The Rockies let Anthony Rizzo stroll home on a popup because they knew they'd win anyway

In the top of the ninth of Sunday's game against the Cubs, Rockies reliever Matt Carasiti found himself in a little bit of a jam: one out, one run already in, Anthony Rizzo on third, Jorge Soler at the plate.
But not to worry! Carasiti beared down, made a good pitch and got Soler to pop out into foul territory between first base and home plate. Catcher Tony Wolters and first baseman Ben Paulsen converged, and Paulsen called his teammate off and made the play. Surely, this would prevent Rizzo from scoring ... unless, of course, the Rockies defense became the opposite of a Tom Emanski instructional video:

As it turns out, while Wolters was getting called off by Paulsen, no one bothered to cover home, allowing Rizzo to just stroll in with a run. Luckily, Colorado remembered to cover all requisite bases for the remainder of the game and won, 11-4.
