A.J. Pierzynski caught a foul ball in the broadcast booth in front of Hawk Harrelson

A.J. Pierzynski knows a thing or two about making catches. The two-time All-Star spent 19 seasons in the bigs making plays from behind the plate. Now, you can find him in the broadcast booth during White Sox games, but it appeared he can definitely still hang.
In the top of the fourth inning, during Sunday's game against the Red Sox, Eduardo Nunez hit a foul ball that made its way toward the Chicago broadcast booth. Pierzynski got a great read on the ball and made the catch:

To sweeten the bare-handed grab, he did it in front of longtime White Sox broadcaster, Ken "Hawk" Harrelson, who was having a special afternoon of his own.
"Hawk Day" began with a pregame ceremony for Harrelson, who announced in May he would be retiring from the booth following the seasons after 34 years as the voice of the Sox. Following his speech, Hawk threw out the ceremonial first pitch to who else -- Pierzynski.
Quite a day.
