Join the fun as the Cleveland Indians celebrate their first World Series appearance in 19 years

With the help of Ryan Merritt (making just his second Major League start) and two big homers from Carlos Santana and Coco Crisp, the Indians beat the Blue Jays, 3-0, in ALCS Game 5 on Wednesday -- advancing to their first World Series since 1997. That's right, the same time Elton John had a hit single and Jennifer Love Hewitt yelled ...

Anyway, they're back and will play either the Cubs or Dodgers in Game 1 starting Oct. 25 -- vying for their first World Series title since 1948 (the longest drought in the AL). So, when the final out was recorded on Wednesday, it was time to celebrate.
Santana ended things in style:

A photo of bitter defeat juxtaposed with utter joy was immediately captured:

Roberto "Mr. October" Perez thanked Cody Allen for his absolute dominance out of the bullpen this postseason:

Manager Terry Francona, a World Series veteran, gave Jason Kipnis -- a player who's been a part of the organization since he was drafted in 2009 -- a big bear hug:

Not all hugs were fun, though:

Superfan LeBron James also sent his love:

Setting up a day that should be a state holiday in Cleveland next week:

Or just another #PartyAtNapolis:
