Judge's connections to Oakland run even deeper. Shortly after the Yankees drafted him out of Fresno State in 2013, he met the team on a West Coast road trip right at the Coliseum, where he took some batting practice. The YES Network's description of his intimidating figure is awfully familiar.
Just four years later, Judge leads MLB with 22 homers, and he's made a habit of launching massive homers in BP. Thursday was his first trip back to Oakland as a Major Leaguer, and he put on a show for the fans there, too.
