On Father's Day, let's watch Cecil 'Big Daddy' Fielder hit some monstrous dingers

There's been a lot of baseball players nicknamed "dad" over the years. There's 19th-century second baseman Dad Lytle, who presumably got the name because he literally looked like a dad. Or Leon "Daddy Wags" Wagner -- earning the moniker for the gesticulations in his batting stance. There's also Aubrey "Huff Daddy" and Scott "The Podfather" Podsednik.
But one MLB daddy stands above the rest. That daddy is Cecil "Big Daddy" Fielder.
The first baseman/DH crushed 319 home runs during his 13-year career, which is amazingly the same amount as his MLB son Prince. Look at these two back in the day:

But back to Big Daddy -- let's review a few of his big-time clouts. Like this one at the old Tiger Stadium that went up "on the roof!"

Or another that cleared the entire ballpark and is probably still bouncing around somewhere. Only Harmon Killebrew and Frank Howard had done it before him:

Milwaukee County Stadium? Big Daddy will clear that too:

His 250th was also a mammoth blast. Big Daddy went above the Big Boy sign in Detroit:

We'd be remiss not to post perhaps his greatest highlight -- the night he stole the first base of his career and got a standing ovation (he had two total):

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there, and especially, to all the big daddys. You know who you are.
