A.J. Pollock somehow managed to knock his own helmet off with a foul ball

Generally speaking, we seem to have exhausted all of the possible locations in which a foul ball can wind up. Anywhere in the stands, for starters, and then there are ball boys and bullpens and dugouts and the occasional deep fryer. 
During Tuesday night's D-backs-Giants game, though, Arizona center fielder A.J. Pollock took a brave step forward and showed us all that #innovation is still possible:
