A Fenway Park security guard kept fans safe and happy with a great catch

The job of a ballpark security guard is to keep fans both safe and happy. Usually that involves confronting issues within the crowd or making sure fans don't have obstructed views mid-inning. Sometimes, as this Fenway Park security guard showed during Sunday's 5-0 Red Sox loss to the Mariners, that involves making great catches:

Having completed his job of protecting the fans in his section from a scorching hot foul ball, he moved on to his next task: Keeping the fans happy.

By the look on that young fan's face, we can safely say that this security guard had a successful day at the office.
