A fan used her beer to shield herself from a foul ball, and it went about how you'd think

This is a tragic and typical love story that still manages to finish with a happy ending.
When the Rangers took on the Mets Tuesday night, a foul ball was hit towards the right side of the crowd by Mets' catcher Travis d'Arnaud when a fan caught it. Simple enough, but this resulted in a neighboring fan losing her beer and being drenched in the cold brew.

The fan that received the ball seemed to feel bad about the outcome, and decided to offer up the ball to her as her own souvenir.
The beer did not survive and the Rangers went on to defeat the Mets 10-8, but it seems everyone went home happy.
