The guy who predicted the Cubs' championship in his 1993 yearbook says it came to him in a dream
Hey, remember the high school student who predicted the Cubs would win the 2016 World Series with his yearbook quotein 1993? Well, it turns out that what we thought was a lucky guess was actually the result of some impressive divination.
Now that the Cubs have proven him correct, Michael Lee, the most famous yearbook prognosticator on the planet, talked to The Huffington Post about his prediction. He went on the record officially in '93, but he says the vision of Cubs players hoisting the Commissioner's Trophy came to him 10 years before that -- in a dream.
"I saw the words, 'Cubs World Champions 2016' on the Wrigley Field sign," Lee told The Huffington Post. "And I heard Harry Caray calling home runs."
So yes, ask Cubs fans and they will undoubtedly tell you they dreamed about Wednesday for years. But how many had the foresight to get in print?
