May 3: Statcast crunches the numbers on Aaron Judge's 435-foot moon shot
Facing Toronto's Marcus Stroman in the third inning, Aaron Judge got the Yankees back in the game with a booming two-run homer to left-center field that Statcast estimated at 435 feet, with a 112.5 exit velocity and a 31-degree launch angle. So, you know, a typically monstrous homer by the eventual AL Rookie of the Year.

May 5: Brett Gardner's late-inning heroics
Down to their last strike at Wrigley Field, Brett Gardner lifted the Yankees to a thrilling 3-2, come-from-behind victory that featured Aroldis Chapman slamming the door against his former club.

May 28: Aaron Judge's first grand slam
Aaron Judge reclaimed the lead in the AL home run race with this, a seemingly effortless grand slam (the first of his young career) that sailed well into the bleachers at Yankee Stadium.

Aug 27: Giancarlo Stanton hits No. 50
Giancarlo Stanton's 50th homer of his NL MVP season was a monster shot that landed in the shrubbery at Marlins Park.

Sept. 14: Bruce walks off for Indians' 22nd straight win
One of the best stories of the season was the Indians' 22-game winning streak, surpassing the 2002 A's as the longest win streak in AL history. The final victory came thanks to Jay Bruce and his walk-off heroics on Sept. 14.

Sept. 25: Judge passes Mark McGwire's rookie home run record
Entering this game against the Royals, Aaron Judge had history in his eyes -- and two homers later, he had set a new rookie record for the most home runs in a single season. Not too shabby. 

Oct. 11: Yankees advance to the ALCS
After a hard-fought five-game Division Series, Aroldis Chapman caught Austin Jackson looking to send the Yankees to an ALCS matchup against the Astros.

Oct. 11: Michael A. Taylor hits a grand slam in NLCS Game 4
In arguably one of the more unexpected moments of the postseason, the Nationals' Michael A. Taylor shocked the faithful at a rainy Wrigley Field by depositing a Wade Davis pitch into the netting in right field for a grand slam in Game 4 of the NLCS.

Oct. 12: Cubs advance to NLCS
Game 5 of the NLDS between the Cubs and Nationals was a roller coaster of emotions, and after several unforgettable moments and a back-and-forth battle, the Cubs made it back to the NLCS after Wade Davis struck out Bryce Harper to nail down the 9-8 victory.

Oct. 14: Correa walks it off in ALCS Game 2
Game 2 of the ALCS was won by the Astros, 2-1, over the Yankees, almost entirely due to the heroics of Carlos Correa. He followed up a solo homer with a walk-off RBI double, plating José Altuve to give Houston a commanding 2-0 series lead in what would prove to be a very entertaining Championship Series.
