Cardinals Care Relief Fund

Dear Seasonal and Game-day Busch Stadium Contract Employees,

First and foremost, we sincerely hope you and your loved ones are safe and healthy as we all continue to shelter at home and practice social distancing measures to counteract the spread of COVID-19.

Postponed or cancelled games can hurt seasonal and game-day staff particularly hard, and we are committed to offering support for those who may be dealing with financial hardship.

That's why we are pleased to announce that Cardinals Care, our team's community foundation, will be donating $1 million to establish a relief fund to support 2020 seasonal and game-day Busch Stadium contract employees.

You will be eligible to apply for a grant from the Cardinals Care Relief Fund if you meet both of the following conditions:

  1. You are a 2020 Busch Stadium contract employee (i.e. an employee of a contractor or vendor of the St. Louis Cardinals, LLC who performed or expected to perform work or services at Busch Stadium during the 2020 baseball season)
  2. You have experienced financial hardship due to the Coronavirus pandemic, a qualifying event

If you believe you are eligible, we strongly encourage you to apply for a support grant at the link below this letter. The Cardinals Care Relief Fund will be held and administered by the St. Louis Community Foundation. If you have any questions, you can email them at [email protected].

We don't know when the season will start, but one thing is certain - without your hard work and dedication, there is no Cardinals baseball.

Apply to the Cardinals Care Relief Fund

The Cardinals Care Relief Fund makes grants to support 2020 seasonal and game-day Busch Stadium contract employees who are experiencing a financial burden due to a disaster or other extreme situation.

You are eligible to apply for a grant if you meet both of the following conditions:

  1. You are a 2020 Busch Stadium contract employee (i.e. a seasonal or game-day employee of a contractor or vendor of the St. Louis Cardinals, LLC or its affiliated entities who performed or expect to perform work or services at Busch Stadium during the 2020 baseball season)
  2. You have experienced financial burden due to the Coronavirus pandemic, a qualifying event

The Cardinals Care relief fund is being held and administered by the St. Louis Community Foundation.
