In anticipation of Opening Day, the Atlanta Braves and Major League Baseball are hosting a “Road To Opening Day” event at Piedmont Park on Wednesday.

As part of MLB’s league-wide “Enjoy The Show” campaign, which is all about celebrating the various ways fans can enjoy baseball, this event will award fans with free collectibles, ballpark-themed snacks, a chance to rub elbows with baseball greats and team mascots, and other surprises.

The Braves’ “Road To Opening Day” event is scheduled to take place from 1-4 p.m. ET on Wednesday. It will be held at the park located at 1320 Monroe Drive NE in Atlanta. If inclement weather is in the forecast, a decision to either move forward or postpone the event will come two hours before the scheduled start time.

The Braves will begin their 2022 regular season on Thursday vs. the Cincinnati Reds. First pitch from Truist Park is slated for 8:08 p.m. ET.
