The Houston Astros announced the 2025 Spring Training schedule today, with the opening games set for Saturday, Feb. 22. Spring Training Opening Day 2025 will feature the opportunity to see the Astros play at home and on the road, as they will play two split-squad games to open Spring Training, hosting the Washington Nationals at CACTI Park of the Palm Beaches, while also playing the New York Mets on the road.

The 2025 season will mark the Astros ninth Spring Training at CACTI Park of the Palm Beaches, located in West Palm Beach, Fla. The ballpark is shared with the Washington Nationals, with separate training facilities located on op­posite sides of the ballpark.

The Astros are scheduled to play 15 Spring Training home games against a variety of popular Grapefruit League oppo­nents. Houston will play 30 official Spring Training games overall in Florida.

Highlights from the Astros home schedule include four games against the Miami Marlins (Feb. 24, Mar. 9, Mar. 15, Mar. 22) and three games apiece vs. the New York Mets (Feb. 25, Mar. 11, Mar. 19) and St. Louis Cardinals (Feb. 28, Mar. 5, Mar. 13). The home schedule also includes a visit from the New York Yankees (Mar. 8) and Toronto Blue Jays (Mar. 14). Additionally, the Astros home schedule will include several weekend options, with two Friday games, four Saturday games and two Sunday games.

The Astros will also face off against their West Palm Beach neighbors, the Nationals, six times in 2025. The Astros will be the home team for three of those matchups (Feb. 22, Mar. 2, Mar. 18).

MLB’s Spring Breakout games will return in 2025, showcasing baseball’s future stars as clubs assemble their top prospects to play in exhibition games against one another. The Astros will play the Nationals in their 2025 Spring Breakout game on March 14 at CACTI Park of the Palm Beaches.

EXHIBITION GAMES
Prior to Opening Day, the Astros will play two exhibition games against Triple-A Sugar Land at Minute Maid Park, March 24 and March 25. Both games are set for 7:10 p.m. CT.
