Three Rangers Youth Academy teams to compete in Memorial Day Weekend tournaments

During Memorial Day Weekend, the Texas Rangers Youth Academy will compete in three highly competitive baseball and softball tournaments.

The Rangers 18U Scout Team will play its first games this summer in the Five Tool Texas DFW Kickoff Tournament from Friday, May 24, to Monday, May 27.

Meanwhile, on Saturday and Sunday, the Academy’s 15U baseball team will play in the Five Tool Texas UT Dallas Summer Kickoff Tournament, and its 18U softball team will compete in the USSSA DFW Memorial Championship.

The tournaments will be held at fields throughout the Metroplex, with the pool play schedules outlined below.

Should the Rangers Youth Academy advance beyond pool play, elimination games for 15U baseball and 18U softball will be played on Sunday, and the 18U baseball Scout Team on Monday.

4:15 p.m. — 18U baseball: Rangers Scout Team vs. Dallas Tigers Brand @ Rockwall High School

Saturday, May 25

8:00 a.m. — 15U Baseball: Rangers YA vs. Canes Southwest 2027 – Wallace @ Mountain View College

10:15 a.m. — 15U Baseball: Rangers YA vs. NTX Tribe – Koerner @ Mountain View College

12 p.m. — 18U Softball: Rangers YA vs. Texas Glory @ Heritage Yard Plano

3 p.m. — 18U Softball: Rangers YA vs. Glory Adkins 2025 @ Heritage Yard Plano

4:30 p.m. — 18U Softball: Rangers YA vs. Canes 18U – Foutch @ Heritage Yard Plano

6 p.m. — 18U Baseball: Rangers Scout Team vs. Bayou City Prospects Navy @ Anna High School

Sunday, May 26

11:15 a.m. — 18U Baseball: Rangers Scout Team vs. Bayou City Prospects Orange @ Ford Z-Plex

3:45 p.m. — 18U Baseball: Rangers Scout Team vs. Texas Jaguars HS 17U @ Ford Z-Plex\
