The LADF kicks off Dodgers RBI Dodger Days presented by Arco tomorrow
LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) today announced the first of five Dodgers RBI Dodger Days presented by ARCO starting tomorrow at Baldwin Hills Recreation Center, 5401 Highlight Place, Los Angeles, CA 90016, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Dodger Days, five regional events, offer Dodgers RBI players and their families an opportunity to experience the Dodgers in their community. More than 300 Dodgers RBI players will partake and will be in full uniform. Fun-filled events begin with an hour-long youth baseball and softball clinic, followed by carnival-style activities, including the Dodger pitching inflatable, Dodger alumni autographs and a visit from the Dodger character.

Tomorrow's Dodger Day will feature a youth baseball and softball clinic, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., led by Dodger alumni Al Ferrara, Lee Lacy and Tim Leary. The clinic is open to Dodgers RBI registered players only who must sign up at their respective park. Additional Dodger Day festivities will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and are open to Dodger RBI players and their families. Volunteers from Dodgers RBI Gold sponsor Bank of America will be on hand to help. Vision to Learn will be on hand to conduct complimentary eye screenings and Read Conmigo will distribute bilingual books.
Dodger partner Farmer John will provide Dodgers RBI players with Dodger Dogs. Hawaiian Springs will provide Dodgers RBI players with water during the event. Gazillion Bubbles will be in attendance with its bubble car and five-foot bubble tower machine. iHeart Radio will provide musical entertainment. Dodgers RBI players will receive a Dodgers RBI practice T-shirt, tickets to a Dodger game, whiffle bats and balls, sun screen from Murad, KIND snacks and Time Warner Cable SportsNet LA pens.
Dodgers RBI Dodger Days presented by ARCO will also take place: Saturday, June 4 at Rosecrans Recreation Center; Saturday, June 18 at Belvedere Park; Saturday, July 16 at Ted Watkins Park; and Saturday, August 20 at Darby Park.
Dodgers RBI seeks to promote greater inclusion of under-resourced youth, increase participation and interest in baseball and softball, encourage academic participation and achievement, stress healthy habits and wellness and focus on fun, teamwork and fair play. Dodgers RBI is part of MLB's Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) program. MLB's RBI has served approximately two million young people since its inception, is administered by MLB and is designed to give young people from underserved and diverse communities the opportunity to play baseball and softball, while also encouraging academic achievement and success and teaching the value of teamwork and other important life lessons.
