Reds Announce Title Changes in Business Operations
Cincinnati Reds Principal Owner and Managing Partner Bob Castellini has announced two organizational changes effective August 1, 2024.
President and Chief Operating Officer Phil Castellini has been promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer; Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Doug Healy has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer /Chief Financial Officer.
With these moves, Bob Castellini retains control and managerial responsibility over all business and baseball operations; Phil Castellini, Doug Healy and President of Baseball Operations Nick Krall will continue to report to Mr. Castellini.
“These changes in our organization recognize the excellent work being done by Phil and Doug in leading our business,” said Mr. Castellini. “They are in lockstep with Nick’s vision for the Reds baseball model to produce sustainable winning and are committed to advancing all aspects of our operations towards that goal .”
Phil Castellini joined the Reds following the 2005 season as Senior Director of Business Operations. He was promoted to Senior Vice President of Business Operations in January 2007 and named Chief Operating Officer in January 2008. President was added to his title in 2016.
Doug Healy was hired in March of 2006 as Senior Director of Finance and promoted to Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in December of 2006.
