WHITE SOX REINSTATE DECLAN CRONIN FROM INJURED LIST AND OPTION HIM TO CLASS AAA CHARLOTTE

BOSTON – Prior to today’s game at Boston, the Chicago White Sox returned right-handed pitcher Declan Cronin from his injury rehab assignment at Class AAA Charlotte, reinstated him from the 15-day injured list and optioned him to Class AAA Charlotte.

Cronin, who has been on the injured list since September 6 with blisters on his right hand, is 0-0 with an 11.74 ERA (10 ER/7.2 IP) and six strikeouts in six relief appearances this season with Chicago. He is 3-0 with a 3.83 ERA (22 ER/51.2 IP), two saves and 42 strikeouts in 47 appearances with the Knights.
