What’s Happening this Weekend: Phillies vs. Nationals, June 30-July 2
On Friday, June 30, the Phillies will kick off a three-game series against the Washington Nationals at Citizens Bank Park. Here’s a look at some of the fan highlights surrounding the games:
1. The series opens Friday, June 30, with a 6:05 p.m. game and the first, must-see postgame Xfinity Fireworks Show of the summer!
- Also happening: The United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own” will perform the national anthem.
2. Celebrate survivorship at the 4:05 p.m. game on Saturday, July 1, with Fox Chase Cancer Center Survivor's Day!
- Cancer survivors from the Fox Chase Cancer Center will take to the field and parade on the warning track pregame.
3. Also happening Saturday, enjoy the Diesel aka Shaquille O'Neal Postgame Concert following the game. Before the game, the Philadelphia Flyers first-round draft pick in NHL draft, Oliver Bonk, who was selected 22nd overall, will throw out a ceremonial first pitch.
- The Phillies postgame concert series is presented by Jim Beam.
- Your game ticket is your concert ticket – no additional purchase is required.
- Before the game, fans can enjoy the Budweiser Block Party at the Budweiser Batter’s Eye Bar.
- Plus, Anheuser-Busch will present a $5,000 check to Folds of Honor, which provides educational scholarships to military families of those who have been killed or disabled while on active duty.
4. Children 14 and under will receive a PJP Alec Bohm Cooling Headband on Sunday, July 2, at the 1:35 p.m. game.
- Plus, Miss America 2023, Grace Stanke, and Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2023, Morgan Greco will perform the national anthem.

The lot includes an Uber-branded lounge with seating and a charging station.
