What’s Happening This Weekend: Phillies vs. Cardinals, August 25-27
The excitement continues this weekend as the Phillies take on the St. Louis Cardinals, August 25-27, at Citizens Bank Park. Here’s a look at some of the fan highlights surrounding the games:
1. Prior to the 7:05 p.m. game on Friday, August 25, the Phillies will host the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence for the eighth annual Domestic Violence Awareness Night.
- Local domestic violence (DV) organizations will have information at the gates including Lutheran Settlement House, Women in Transition and Women Against Abuse (First Base Gate) and Domestic Violence Center of Chester County, Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County, Laurel House and Women’s Center of Montgomery County (Third Base Gate).
- As part of the pregame activities, members of PCADV and local DV organizations will be recognized on-field alongside Phillies Manager Rob Thomson.
- Awareness will be made on how to find help 24/7: by contacting a local domestic violence program by visiting PCADV.org or the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233).
2. On Saturday, August 26, children 14 and under will receive a Trea Turner T-shirt presented by IBEW Local 98 at that night’s 7:15 p.m. game, which is also a FOX nationally-televised broadcast. Also happening, MLB Pitch, Hit & Run baseball and softball champions will be recognized on-field.
- Budweiser Block Party! Enjoy pregame fun at the Budweiser Batter’s Eye Bar behind Section 148.
- Check out the team-issued and game-used autographed memorabilia that will be on display at the First Base Plaza as part of the Phillies Charities, Inc. Online Auction, which is on phillies.com/auctions until Thursday, August 31, at 6:00 p.m. Items include those signed by Alec Bohm, Nick Castellanos, Bryce Harper, Rhys Hoskins, Michael Lorenzen, Brandon Marsh, Aaron Nola, J.T. Realmuto, Kyle Schwarber, Gregory Soto, Bryson Stott, Rob Thomson, Trea Turner, Taijuan Walker and Zack Wheeler.
3. The Phillies will close out the series on Sunday, August 27, at that afternoon’s 1:35 p.m. game, featuring a Bryce Harper Premium Vinyl Figure presented by Philadelphia Water Ice for children 14 and under.
- Watch a live radio broadcast of the Baseball Insiders Show with The Phillies’ John Brazer and 1993 National League champion Tommy Greene on 1490 WBCB, a Phillies radio affiliate, outside Pass and Stow near the Third Base Plaza from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.
- New fall flavors! For a limited time, fans will be able to enjoy the Gobbler (roasted turkey, stuffing, and cranberry mayonnaise, topped with gravy on a Liscio’s long roll) at Bull’s BBQ behind Section 143, as part of a Seasons Inning Stretch culinary arts program being offered by Aramark Sports + Entertainment.
4. Fans are invited to opt-in for MLB’s Go-Ahead Entry on the MLB Ballpark App, a new, first-of-its kind, free-flow ballpark entry experience that launched earlier this week at Citizens Bank Park.
- MLB’s Go-Ahead Entry system allows ticket holders who opt in for the service (via the MLB Ballpark App) the ability to enter the ballpark at the First Base Plaza at full walking speed without stopping. Details are here.

- Gate Openings: Gates open at 5:35 p.m. on Friday, 5:45 p.m. on Saturday, and 12:05 p.m. on Sunday.
- Broadcast: Friday and Sunday’s games will be broadcast on NBC Sports Philadelphia; Saturday’s game will be nationally televised on FOX. All three games will be broadcast 94 WIP and WTTM 1680, and available on nbcsportsphiladelphia.com and the NBC Sports app. In addition, Friday’s game will be broadcast on MLB Network (out of network).

- Bag Policy: Guests are prohibited from bringing bags, including backpacks, to the ballpark. Only clutch purses (5" x 7"), fanny packs, medical bags, drawstring bags, clear or solid tote bags and diaper bags will be permitted. Medical bags, tote bags and diaper bags can be no larger than 16" x 16" x 8". Guests may discard or return the prohibited items to their vehicle or store them in a locker on Citizens Bank Way ($10 fee).
- Uber RideShare Lot: Lot T is designated for Uber RideShare for all Citizens Bank Park and Wells Fargo Center events. Fans should exit the Third Base Gate and walk along Pattison Avenue toward Broad Street to enter the lot and request a vehicle, which will meet each rider in the designated area.
- Parking: Please click here for a parking map. Parking for Phillies games is cashless. Methods of payment include credit/debit cards and mobile payment (Apple Pay and Google Pay). To expedite entry, pre-paid parking passes may also be purchased prior to the game.
