Plus, Phillies Carpenter Cup Champions, RBI and Jr. RBI Coaches of the Year and Phillies Ballgirls ‘Ball Kid of the Month’ to be Recognized On-field; Mickey Morandini’s Cornhole Classic and SEI to Present a $20,000 Check to Kyle Schwarber for His Neighborhood Heroes Program

The Phillies take on the Milwaukee Brewers, July 18-20, during a three-game series at Citizens Bank Park. Here’s a look at some of the fan highlights surrounding the games:

  1. The Phillies Irish Heritage Celebration takes place on Tuesday, July 18, before that night’s 6:40 p.m. game. Plus, the Phillies Carpenter Cup Champions, Tri-Cape (softball) and Jersey Shore (baseball), will be recognized on-field for winning their respective tournaments presented by Nike.

    • RUNA, a Celtic music group, will perform at Pass and Stow from 5:35-6:15 p.m. and on-field for the national anthem.
    • Students from local Irish dance schools will perform on the warning track.
    • The Phillie Phanatic’s 7th inning dance will feature students from the McCade-Cara School of Irish Dance.
    • Prior to the game, DennisMcGonigle, Chief Financial Officer for new Phillies partner SEI,® will present a $20,000 check to Kyle Schwarber for his Schwarber’s Neighborhood Heroes program, part of a new charitable grant program for player initiatives.
  2. Wednesday’s 6:40 p.m. game features I Heart Phillies Night presented by Temple Heart & Vascular Institute and Mickey Morandini’s Cornhole Classic.

    • The first 1,000 fans to purchase tickets for this Theme Night, which features a $4 discount off the regular price of tickets in select locations, will receive a voucher for an exclusive I Heart Phillies hat.
    • There will be a ceremonial first pitch by Phillies fan and heart failure survivor Dean Pizzo, Patient and Family Advisory Council member for the Temple Heart & Vascular Institute.
    • Take on 1993 NL champs Mickey Morandini and Milt Thompson in a game of cornhole for a $5 minimum donation to Phillies Charities at the Third Base Plaza. Each participant gets challenged to three throws of cornhole. Beat the ambassador and win a prize! The event is part of the Phillies Summer of Giving presented by The GIANT Company.
    • Sesame Street’s Elmo will also make a ceremonial pitch and meet fans at the First Base Plaza.
    • Plus, the Coaches of the Year from the Phillies RBI sponsored by Citizens and RBI sponsored by Nike & Richman's Ice Cream programs will be recognized on-field.
  3. The homestand concludes with Thursday’s 12:35 p.m. Citizens Businessperson’s Special, also featuring a postgame Nemours Children’s Health Run the Bases.

    • 10-year-old Da’Shay Washington, from Camden, NJ, who was born with sickle cell disease and requires monthly blood transfusions, will represent the Phillies Ballgirls as the official “Ball Kid of the Month” presented by GIANT. This once-in-a-lifetime experience is given to a child battling cancer or another disease.
    • Following the game, children 14 and under are invited to go on the field and run the bases.
    • Plus, it’s Summer Camp Day, where campers and counselors can purchase tickets at a discounted rate.
  4. For this series only at Coca-Cola Corner (left field), Humpty’s Dumplings will serve two types of their delicious and unique dumplings.

    • Offerings include Cheesesteak (thinly sliced steak and American cheese blend) and Honey Chipotle Chicken (shredded roasted chicken breast, spices, honey, smoked gouda, red and green onions), with each style of dumplings $12.49+ tax.
    • Paired with the perfect Coca-Cola beverage, 5% of all purchases of the dumplings will benefit Philabundance to help fight food insecurity.
  5. Bid on team**-issued and game-used autographed memorabilia during the Phillies Charities, Inc. Online Auction on** com/auctions until Thursday, July 27, at 6:00 p.m.
