Twins announce plans for 2025 Winter Caravan
MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – The Minnesota Twins today announced the two-leg, four-state, nine-city schedule for the 63rd edition of Twins Winter Caravan, set for January 21-22. The 2025 Caravan – one of professional sports’ longest-running and most extensive fan engagement tours – will feature Twins players, alumni and broadcasters traveling to communities in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
The 2025 Twins Winter Caravan features two groups – both featuring two current Twins players, an alumnus and a club broadcaster – traveling to different locales throughout the Upper Midwest. Each day of their respective tours will include a community enrichment activity, along with traditional “Hot Stove” programming (including question-and-answer, autograph and meet-and-greet sessions) in partnership with the Treasure Island Baseball Network.
Additionally, the Twins will participate in, and provide support for, events on January 22 (Baseball Old Timers Hot Stove League in St. Paul, MN), February 1 (Justin Morneau Ice Fishing Tournament in St. Isle, MN to benefit United Heroes League), February 4 (Second Harvest Heartland’s 16th Annual End Hunger Together Radiothon in Brooklyn Park, MN) and February 5 (Black Woods Blizzard Tour in Carlton, MN to fund the fight against ALS).

2025 Twins Winter Caravan – Leg 1 (Tuesday, January 21 – Wednesday, January 22)
Attendees: Twins Hall of Famer and current television analyst Justin Morneau; Twins utility player Austin Martin and 2024 Minor League Pitcher of the Year Zebby Matthews; and Twins television play-by-play voice Cory Provus.
Stops:
Tuesday, January 21: Rochester, Minnesota (Mayo Eugenio Litta Children’s Hospital) for a private visit with patients and their families, in partnership with KROC-FM; La Crosse, Wisconsin for a private visit to the headquarters of longtime Twins partner Kwik Trip; and Welch, Minnesota (Treasure Island Resort & Casino) for a public Hot Stove event in partnership with KWNG-FM.
Wednesday, January 22: St. Cloud, Minnesota (Kennedy Community School) for a private school stop; and Fargo, North Dakota (Sanctuary Events Center) for a public Hot Stove event in partnership with KFGO-AM.

Attendees: Twins three-time All-Star closer and current broadcaster Glen Perkins; Twins infielder Brooks Lee and right-handed pitcher Louie Varland; and Twins radio play-by-play voice Kris Atteberry.
Stops:
Tuesday, January 21: Willmar, Minnesota (Willmar Stingers) for a private homecoming visit where both Brooks and Louie played a year of summer ball; and Sioux Falls, South Dakota (Elmen Center at Augustana University) for a public Hot Stove event in partnership with KSOO-AM.
Wednesday, January 22: Owatonna, Minnesota for a special public stop in partnership with KRFO-AM to celebrate the community’s Bold and Cold Days; and Mankato, Minnesota (The Venue) for a public Hot Stove event in partnership with KTOE-AM.
The Twins will also lend their participation and support to the following events throughout the region:
- Baseball Old Timers Hot Stove League on Wednesday, January 22. This event at the Southview Country Club in St. Paul, Minnesota will feature Twins Manager Rocco Baldelli, Twins Hall of Famers Jerry Bell (former club president), and Jim Rantz (former farm director); Twins President & CEO Dave St. Peter; St. Paul Saints Executive Vice President / General Manager Derek Sharrer; St. Paul Saints Broadcaster Sean Aronson; former MLB Umpire Tim Tschida; and legendary former University of Minnesota Head Baseball Coach John Anderson.
- 20th Annual Diamond Awards presented by Schneiderman’s Furniture on Thursday, January 23. This event at The Armory in Minneapolis honors the Twins’ 2024 award winners as voted on by the Twin Cities Chapter of the Baseball Writers Association of America and the Minnesota Twins Community Fund, and benefits research, education and care in brain, nerve and muscle disorders at the University of Minnesota. - 10th Annual Justin Morneau Ice Fishing Classic presented by UPS to benefit United Heroes League (UHL) on Saturday, February 1. This event in St. Isle, Minnesota, led by Twins Hall of Famer and current television analyst Justin Morneau, benefits UHL in its effort help military families heal, build friendships and engage in their communities through sports. Additionally, the Twins will support UHL with a financial donation of $2,500.
- 16th Annual End Hunger Together Radiothon in partnership with 830 WCCO to benefit Brooklyn Park, Minnesota-based Second Harvest Heartland on Tuesday, February 4. Twins front office volunteers will assist with the radiothon raising funds to end hunger.
- Black Woods Blizzard Tour in partnership with Never Surrender, Inc. on Wednesday, February 5. This four-day event, which begins the evening of February 5 in Carlton, Minnesota, raises funds for ALS research, organizations providing services that empower people living with ALS to be more independent and financial assistance for full-time family caregivers for those afflicted with ALS. The Twins will present a $10,000 check at the kick-off dinner to support Never Surrender, Inc., while Twins Hall of Famer Kent Hrbek will again lend his support to the event.
