Bally Sports North, Audacy’s 830 WCCO and 102.9 The Wolf, and the Treasure Island Baseball Network team up to broadcast 16 Twins Spring Training games

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – Baseball is back, and the Minnesota Twins, in conjunction with partners Bally Sports North, Audacy’s 830 WCCO (WCCO-AM) and 102.9 The Wolf (KMNB-FM), and the Treasure Island Baseball Network (TIBN) today announced the club’s 16-game 2022 Spring Training broadcast schedule.

Bally Sports North will telecast 12 Twins Grapefruit League games, all of which will also be streamed live on the Bally Sports app. There will be 15 audio broadcasts produced by the Treasure Island Baseball Network; 11 will be carried in the Twin Cities on 830 WCCO (and simulcast on 102.9 The Wolf), while all 15 will be streamed, live and free of charge, via the Audacy app and website, or on the Audacy app via select smart speakers.

Each broadcast – television and audio – will originate on-site from ballparks in Florida. Every Twins-produced broadcast will feature exclusive live interviews of players, on-field personnel or front office staff as the club prepares for the 2022 regular season. Only three of the Twins’ 19 Grapefruit League games this season will not be broadcast.

Bally Sports North Telecasts

The Bally Sports North (BSN) 12-game broadcast schedule will consist of three contests called by renowned play-by-play voice Dick Bremer alongside Twins Hall of Famer Justin Morneau; six simulcasts featuring a combination of BSN cameras, graphics and replays, accompanied by analysis and play-by-play from Treasure Island Baseball Network talent Cory Provus and 2022 Twins Hall of Fame electee Dan Gladden; and three simulcasts of the opponents’ broadcast feed (Saturday, March 26 at Atlanta, and Tuesday, March 29 and Saturday, April 2 at Tampa Bay).

Bally Sports North begins its 2022 Spring Training slate with a 12:00 p.m. CT telecast on Saturday, March 19 as the Twins host the Boston Red Sox in the Hammond Stadium home opener. Bremer and Morneau make their 2022 debut on Tuesday, March 22 when Minnesota hosts the defending World Series champion Atlanta Braves; the pair will also call the Thursday, March 24 game against the Tampa Bay Rays and the Sunday, March 27 tilt vs. the Red Sox.

Treasure Island Baseball Network Audio Broadcasts

The Treasure Island Baseball Network’s 15 games will all feature Provus, the two-time Minnesota Sportscaster of the Year, and Gladden, who enters his 24th year in the Twins radio booth after helping Minnesota to the 1987 and 1991 World Series titles. Audacy’s 830 WCCO and 102.9 The Wolf will begin its 11-game broadcast schedule at 12:00 p.m. CT on Thursday, March 17 for the Twins’ Grapefruit League opener against Boston at JetBlue Park.
