Third annual Blue Jays Caribbean Carnival returns on July 26 during 9-game homestand
For the third straight year, fans are invited to celebrate Blue Jays Caribbean Carnival at Rogers Centre as the team takes on the Texas Rangers on Friday, July 26 (7:07 p.m.). Hosted one week before Toronto Caribbean Carnival’s iconic Grand Parade, this year’s event once again brings the Carnival to the ballpark featuring costumes, music, performers, Caribbean-themed food and drinks, photo opportunities, and décor!
The event is hosted in partnership with the Toronto Caribbean Carnival and honours the rich history of Caribbean cultural expressions. Today, the month-long festival brings millions of visitors to the city and comprises a series of celebratory events that recognise Caribbean heritage and culminate in the Grand Parade hosted on Emancipation Day weekend (August 1 to 4).
Blue Jays Caribbean Carnival Event Details
The first 15,000 fans at the ballpark receive one of four coloured Blue Jays Neon Hat giveaways (image here).
The 2024 Jr. Kings and Queens join the on-field celebrations to throw the ceremonial first pitch. Fans can get a close look at the brilliant young masqueraders’ costumes on display at gate 9A.
In the Outfield District, fans can enjoy Caribbean-inspired décor, activities, and photo opportunities along with performances beginning pregame and continuing into the game from steel pan band performers and Caribbean dancers and models from various Toronto MAS bands. Fans can also dance the night away in section 536 and 537 at the Soca Bar.
Caribbean-inspired food and drinks can be found around the ballpark including the Mamajuana specialty cocktail with spiced rum and red wine.

Fry Days with McCain features Caribbean-inspired poutine, fries topped with pulled jerk chicken, cheese curds, warm mojo sauce, and scotch bonnet mango-pineapple salsa, served in a Blue Jays reusable helmet.
Blue Jays Caribbean Carnival is not the only exciting event happening during this first homestand after the All-Star break:
The nine-game homestand begins on Friday, July 19 with specialty ticket Blue Jays Picklefest Night as the team takes on the Detroit Tigers (7:07 p.m.). Fans who purchase a specialty ticket receive a Picklefest tote bag and access to pickle-themed activities. The event also features Fry Days with McCain’s ‘In a Pickle’ poutine – ranch seasoned fries topped with cheese curds, gravy, dill pickle aioli, and shaved dill pickles, all served in a Blue Jays reusable helmet.
NIGHT MODE returns for two of the team’s City Connect wear dates on Friday, July 19, and Wednesday, July 24 (both 7:07 p.m.).
Fans can enjoy two Jr. Jays Sundays on July 21 and 28. Outdoor programming takes place at 10:30 a.m. through first pitch, featuring inflatables, activities, and performances outside gates 5 to 11, while indoor programming begins at 11:30 a.m. Kids 14 and under can run the bases postgame with full Jr. Jays Sunday details available at bluejays.com/jrjays.
Loonie Dogs Night presented by Schneiders returns on Tuesday, July 23 as the Blue Jays lead off their three-game series against the Tampa Bay Rays (7:07 p.m.). Last Loonie Dogs Night saw fans consume 47,588 dollar dogs. Can fans get to 70,000 for the first time this season?
