Therabody, global wellness innovator, named ‘Official Recovery Partner’ of the Philadelphia Phillies

The Phillies and Therabody are excited to announce a new partnership that takes the players’ training and recovery regimens to the next level.

Therabody, the global wellness innovator, has been named the ‘Official Recovery Partner of the Philadelphia Phillies.’ As part of this new alliance, Therabody solutions will be incorporated into Phillies’ athletes training and recovery regimen, including Theragun percussive therapy devices, RecoveryAir pneumatic compression boots, and PowerDot electrical muscle stimulator.

Therabody products will also be located inside the home dugout and bullpen for players to use during practice and between innings.

“We’re excited to welcome Therabody to the Phillies family,” said Phillies Vice President of Partnership Sales & Corporate Marketing Jackie Cuddeback. “Their smart, industry-leading devices and solutions for wellness and recovery will be a tremendous resource to our players and staff.”

Players, training staff, and fans will be able to benefit from Therabody’s wellness services at Reset, Therabody’s complete body wellness center in Philadelphia’s Fishtown neighborhood, and a local resource for Phillies players and staff to relax, recharge, and recover when they’re not on the field. The center is outfitted with cutting-edge wellness technologies previously only available to elite athletes, elite performance coaches and leading physical therapists and in clinical settings. In addition to a full-body Theragun massage, visitors to Reset can experience cryotherapy, sound and light therapy, IV treatments, dynamic one-on-one assisted stretching, and more.

“We are thrilled the Phillies players and staff will be able to take full advantage of not only our products, but the amenities at Reset so we can help them reach their fullest performance potential,” commented Therabody Founder and Chief Wellness Officer Dr. Jason Wersland. “We partner with the best athletes and teams with a goal to help the athletes perform their best every game. Therabody solutions and whole-body wellness can help them feel better and live happier, healthier lives. The Phillies have such passionate, loyal fans and we can’t wait to show more people around Philadelphia all that we can offer.”

Players and training staff will also participate in education sessions with performance and recovery experts from Therabody University, the company’s educational division. Therabody’s experts will highlight protocols for areas of the body where baseball players often experience muscle soreness and stiffness, such as the shoulders, back, and calves.

Therabody and the Phillies will also team up to create a digital content series to showcase how wellness solutions enhance the players training and recovery regimen.
