The NL Wild Card race heats up at Chase Field as the D-backs tee up final homestand with Golf Night with WM Phoenix Open, Three-Day Player Tee Weekend and Diamondbacks Race Against Cancer
The Arizona Diamondbacks return home battling for a Wild Card spot as the team closes out an exciting 2024 regular season with two crucial series against the San Francisco Giants and San Diego Padres. Fans will be treated to must-see pennant-race baseball along with three straight days of exclusive player shirts giveaways, heritage celebrations, sports nights and more.
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 23 VS. GIANTS @ 6:40 P.M.
The first-ever D-backs Golf Night presented by WM Phoenix Open celebrates the iconic “The People’s Open” and “The Greenest Show on Grass” and will recognize The Thunderbirds and Thunderbirds Charities for their incredible work in the community, specifically with the Special Olympics, on the heels of their tournament record $17,521,024 raised in 2024. The D-backs have strong connections to the Thunderbirds while Chase Field has hosted the Tee-Off Luncheon since 2019. Passing the Torch Night celebrates the 2024 Summer Games with special appearances by Arizona’s own Gold medal gymnast Amanda Borden, Gold medal volleyball player Whitney Dosty and 2024 Olympics skateboarder Paige Heyn and BMX Racer Cam Wood. Borden, Dosty, Heyn & Wood will support and encourage local young athletes by leading a pregame parade around the field and participating in a special Q&A session.
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24 VS. GIANTS @ 6:40 P.M.
The D-backs are thrilled to welcome Phoenix Raceway President Latasha Causey and racecar driver and actor Frankie Muniz for NASCAR Night! Muniz will throw out the ceremonial first pitch and the first 5,000 fans will receive a D-backs co-branded NASCAR/Phoenix Raceway hat.

The D-backs are kicking-off Player Tee Weekend presented by Circle K on Friday with an exclusive Jake McCarthy t-shirt for the first 20,000 fans.
Friday is also D-backs Italian Heritage Celebration in collaboration with the Italian Association of Arizona and Arizona Italian Chamber of Commerce. In a special pregame ceremony, the team will recognize World War II survivor, Margherita Bertola Fray, the last surviving member of Defence Groups for Women and for the Assistance of Freedom Fighters (Gruppi di difesa delle donne). As a teen, she became a partisan and participated in missions to support fighters in the underground, risking her life to save Italy. Margherita currently lives in Scottsdale and is an author, painter, speaker and great-grandmother. Fans can receive a D-backs Italian flag hat and great seat to the game at dbacks.com/Italian.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 29 VS. PADRES @ 1:10 P.M.
Sunday closes out the D-backs 2024 regular season with the third Player Tee Weekend presented by Circle K t-shirt featuring Geraldo Perdomo available to the first 20,000 fans.
The day gets started early, at 7:15 a.m. on Sunday, as fans take to the streets of Downtown Phoenix for the team’s 11th annual Diamondbacks Race Against Cancer presented by Dignity Health Cancer Institute. Proceeds will support Dignity Health’s cancer research and patient care programs. Registration is open through Saturday, Sept. 28 and all fans will receive a commemorative t-shirt, medal, bag and ticket to a game during the D-backs/Padres series. Register at dbacks.com/race.
