Texas Rangers kick off August with homestand vs. Boston Red Sox, Houston Astros 

Arlington, Texas—The Texas Rangers will head into August with a six-game homestand versus the Boston Red Sox and Houston Astros at Globe Life Field beginning August 2.

When the Rangers host their in-state rivals, Houston Astros, fans can lean into their World Series Championship bragging rights by taking photos of the trophy in Championship Corner, presented by Choctaw Casinos & Resorts. When the series kicks off on August 5, the Rangers will also spotlight fellow DFW sports team, FC Dallas. In the final installment of the DFW City Connect Theme Night which celebrates fellow DFW sports teams, FC Dallas All-Stars Petar Musa (Forward) and Maarten Paes (Goalkeeper) will throw out the first pitch. Paes and Musa played 30 minutes in July’s MLS All-Star game in Columbus, Ohio.

Before the 3-game series with Houston, the Texas Rangers will host the Boston Red Sox beginning Friday, August 2. Tickets for all Rangers home games during the 2024 season can be purchased at rangers.com, by phone at 972-RANGERS, or at Globe Life Field’s Southeast Box Office.

In case you missed it: El Tiempo Cantina, which began serving customers on July 1, is now open for lunch and dinner. It’s located in the southwest corner of Choctaw Stadium at 1011 Nolan Ryan Expressway across from Loews Arlington Hotel.

Faces of Freedom: Each month, the Texas Rangers and American Airlines recognize members of the military, active or retired through the Faces of Freedom program. During the game on August 4, the Texas Rangers will recognize Sergeant First Class, Michael Casarez of the United States Army, The Dallas, TX native was an infantry soldier and in the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC).
