Texas Rangers host Boston Red Sox and Seattle Mariners in final homestand of the season set to begin Monday, September 18
Arlington, Texas— The Texas Rangers play their final six home games of the regular season when they begin a homestand against the Boston Red Sox on Monday, September 18 at 7:05 p.m. The Rangers host Boston for three games, Monday – Wednesday, before hosting the Seattle Mariners in a three-game set, Friday, September 22 – Sunday, September 24.
The first two games against Boston are scheduled for 7:05 p.m. before a 1:05 p.m. matinee on Wednesday, September 20. Following the Rangers off day on Thursday, they host Seattle at 7:05 p.m. in the series opener on Friday. Saturday, September 23 is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. before the regular season home finale at 1:35 p.m. on Sunday, September 24.
Texas currently holds the 2nd American League Wild Card spot, 8.0 games ahead of Boston and 0.5 games ahead of Seattle. The Club is 1.0 game behind Houston in the race for the American League West Division. The series with Boston is the final time the two teams will meet during the regular season while the Rangers and Mariners finish the regular season with a four-game series in Seattle, September 28 – October 1.

In a pregame ceremony Monday, Jon Gray will be recognized as the Rangers 2023 Roberto Clemente Award nominee. The Roberto Clemente Award presented by Capital One is the annual recognition of a Major League player who best represents the game of Baseball through extraordinary character, community involvement, philanthropy, and positive contributions, both on and off the field.
On Monday and Tuesday vs. Boston, the Rangers are partnering with Major League Baseball and HeadCount to hold a voter registration event at Globe Life Field. For both games, HeadCount representatives will be stationed inside the ballpark near the Toyota Southwest Entry. From the times gates open through the bottom of the second inning, fans may register to vote or check their voter registration status.
Game two against the Red Sox on September 19 is the final Coca-Cola Family Fun Tuesday of the year. Fans can enjoy discounts on ticket prices, parking, food and drink, plus meet Rangers players and/or coaches with a pregame autograph session from 5:30-6:00 p.m., presented by Golden Chick. In a pregame ceremony Tuesday, two Texas Rangers Youth Academy athletes will be presented with the inaugural Young Family Scholarship. Each recipient will receive a $20,000 scholarship to further their education.
Dallas Cowboys All-Pro cornerback Trevon Diggs will throw the ceremonial first pitch.

The series finale scheduled for 1:05 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20 is the last Texas Chili Company Dollar Hot Day Day of the season.

The final home series of the regular season pits the Rangers against their division rival Seattle Mariners. Game one of the series is set for Friday, September 22 and kicks off with the City Connect Baseball Cards Giveaway, presented by Texas Lottery, to the first 15,000 fans ages 18 and older.
The Players’ Favorite Baskets fundraiser is also set for the series opener against Seattle. From the time gates open at 5:00 p.m. until the start of the fifth inning, fans can view and bid on baskets full of select Rangers players’ favorite things. Baskets can also be viewed and bid on at rangers.com/playerbaskets. Bidding begins on Friday, September 15 at 9:00 a.m. CT. Game two of the series on Saturday, September 23 begins with the Adolis García Bobblehead, presented by TXU Energy, for the first 15,000 fans.
In pregame festivities, former Rangers outfielder/first baseman Lee Stevens will sign autographs in the New Era Alumni Alley from 4:30-5:30. Additionally, Texas Rangers Youth Academy athlete, Jr. Home Run Derby National Champion and Choctaw Nation tribal member, Amira Forbit, will throw the ceremonial first pitch.
Following the game will be the final Viva Tejas of the season, presented by Viva First. In the CBD Kratom Backyard, fans can enjoy live music by Havana NRG, artwork, authentic food, and micheladas.
The regular season home finale on Sunday, September 24 begins with the Globe Life Field Replica Giveaway, presented by Globe Life, to the first 15,000 fans.
Kids 13 and under can enjoy $1 Blue Bell Ice Cream throughout the game and participate in postgame run the bases.
