Texas Rangers announce MLB All-Star Game voting ticket offer

Arlington, Texas— The Texas Rangers today announced a unique ticket offer for fans who submit ballot(s) for the 2023 All-Star Game presented by Mastercard that will be held at T-Mobile Park in Seattle on Tuesday, July 11.

Fans that submit at least one online ballot will receive an e-mail that includes a coupon code with a ticket offer for 25% off Outfield Pavilion, Upper Box or Upper Reserved Section seats for the June 26-29 series against the Detroit Tigers or the July 17-19 series against the Tampa Bay Rays. The offer is limited to eight (8) tickets.

Votes can be cast at Rangers.com/vote with a valid e-mail address from May 31 – June 29. After voting, fans will receive the ticket offer code via e-mail the following day.

The 2023 Scotts MLB All-Star Ballot features two phases of fan voting to determine the All-Star starters. Phase one voting begins today and concludes at 12:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, June 22. On the 22nd, the top two vote-getters at each position (and top six outfielders) in each League will be revealed on MLB Network at 6:00 p.m. ET and will advance to the second phase of voting.

Phase two will begin at 12:00 p.m. ET on Monday, June 26 with fans voting on finalists at each position and runs until 12:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, June 29. Later that night, the winners will be announced on ESPN at 7:00 p.m. ET.

Major League Baseball’s Fan Ballot includes Catcher Jonah Heim, first baseman Nathaniel Lowe, second baseman Marcus Semien, third baseman Josh Jung, shortstop Corey Seager, outfielders Adolis García, Ezequiel Duran and Leody Taveras, and designated hitter Robbie Grossman.

Heim, 27, is among American League leaders as a catcher in RBI (1st, 35), hits (1st, 46), total bases (2nd, 72) and home runs (T7th, 5). He had a career-best 14-game hit streak from April 30-May 16 and his 3.36 catcher ERA ranks second among all MLB backstops.

Lowe ranks among American League leaders in doubles (T2nd, 16), runs (4th, 40), times on base (T6th, 86), and hits (T8th, 59). The 2022 Silver Slugger Award winner has reached safely in 47 of 54 games in 2023.

Semien, the catalyst who leads the Texas offense, owns a 19-game hit streak and 27-game on-base streak. The second baseman is among American League leaders in runs (1st, 48), bWAR (2nd, 3.1), hits (2nd, 66), total bases (3rd, 108), RBI (4th, 44), OBP (13th, .365), and OPS (T14th, .849). The 2021 All-Star has started at second base and hit leadoff in all 54 Rangers games this year. Per statcast, Semien’s five Outs Above Average leads all qualified MLB second basemen.

Jung, 25, is hitting .291 with 12 home runs and 37 RBI. The Texas Tech University product was selected as the American League Rookie of the Month for April. Jung ranks among American League third base leaders in runs (1st, 39), hits (1st, 59), total bases (1st, 107), slugging (1st, .527), OPS (1st, .865), home runs (2nd, 12), batting average (2nd, .291), RBI (T2nd, 37), and doubles (T4th, 10).

Seager, a three-time All-Star, is hitting .315 with 5 home runs, 23 RBI, and a .952 OPS. The shortstop ranks among American League leaders (min. 100 PA) in batting average (4th, .315), OPS (4th, .952), and slugging (6th, .573). Since being activated from the injured list on May 17, Seager’s 19 RBI leads the American League.

García, a 2021 All-Star, leads Major League Baseball with 49 RBI and ranks among American League leaders in runs (2nd, 45), home runs (T2nd, 14), and slugging (14th, .505). García was the American League Player of the Week from April 17-23 and became the third player in the Modern Era with 16+ total bases, 3+ home runs, 8+ RBI and 5+ runs in a game on April 22 vs. Oakland. García also leads all Major League Baseball outfielders with eight outfield assists.

Full rosters for the 2023 All-Star Game are scheduled to be announced on Sunday, July 2 on ESPN at 4:30 CT leading into Baseball Tonight and Sunday Night Baseball.
