TEXAS RANGERS AND HEADCOUNT TO HOLD VOTER REGISTRATION EVENT AT GLOBE LIFE FIELD
Arlington, Texas— The Texas Rangers are partnering with Major League Baseball and HeadCount to hold a voter registration event at Globe Life Field during the first two games of the Texas Rangers-Boston Red Sox series on Monday, September 18, and Tuesday, September 19, National Voter Registration Day.
Since 2004, HeadCount has staged thousands of non-partisan voter registration drives at live events, collaborating with cultural leaders to register and empower voters while inspiring participation in democracy.
For both 7:05 p.m. contests, HeadCount representatives will be stationed inside the ballpark near the Toyota Southwest Entry behind section 116. From the time gates open at 5 p.m. through the bottom of the second inning, fans may register to vote or check their voter registration status.
Fans may also sign up to receive election alerts in person or by texting ALLSTAR to 57568 for their chance to win a trip to the 2024 All-Star Game at Globe Life Field.
New registrants will complete voter registration forms on-site, which will then be processed and delivered to the appropriate election offices. HeadCount representatives are deputized to collect forms from Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Fannin, Grayson, Johnson, Kaufman, Hood, Hunt, Parker, Rockwall, Tarrant, and Wise counties on site, and Texans from other counties will receive information on how to register. Visitors from out of state can also register to vote on site.

ABOUT HEADCOUNT
HeadCount is a non-partisan non-profit organization that harnesses the power of music, culture and digital media to register voters and inspire participation in democracy. Since 2004, we’ve registered over one million voters through our work with musicians like Ariana Grande, Harry Styles, Lizzo, Dead & Co, Billie Eilish and Alicia Keys; organizations such as Global Citizen; events including Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, pride festivals and RuPaul’s DragCon; plus partnerships with brands like Spotify, Major League Baseball and American Eagle. Our award-winning online campaigns have been seen over a billion times, while our 50,000 volunteers can be seen at more than 1,500 live events each year. We reach young people where they already are – at concerts and online – to inform and empower.
