Reds Community Fund announces special “Split the Pot” benefitting the Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio

The Cincinnati Reds Community Fund has launched the first of two special two-week jackpots of their Split the Pot fundraiser beginning June 19, with proceeds benefiting the Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio.

For each two-week period, one lucky fan will win 50 percent of the jackpot. All charitable proceeds will benefit the Urban League, which has served as a regional leader in their efforts to combat COVID-19 and as a powerful voice during the social justice movement.

“We continue to respond to urgent community needs and provide resources to underserved people across Greater Cincinnati and Dayton,” says Eddie Koen, president and CEO of the Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio. “The Cincinnati Reds’ generosity allows us to continue the important work of uplifting our community.”

“Last year, we were able to activate our Split the Pot fundraiser to support the tornado relief efforts in Dayton, Ohio,” explained Reds President and COO Phil Castellini. “We’re excited to use our online sales efforts again this year to benefit a leading regional organization that is connecting daily with underserved businesses and communities.”

Each ticket purchased will be considered one (1) entry into the raffle.

Fans must be 18 years or older and in the state of Ohio at the time of purchase to enter.

The winning ticket number will be announced following the conclusion of the raffle on July 3, 2020.
