Red Sox sign first-round Draft pick Braden Montgomery

BOSTON, MA — The Boston Red Sox have signed three additional players selected in the 2024 MLB First-Year Player Draft: outfielder Braden Montgomery (1st round), left-handed pitcher Payton Tolle (2nd round), and right-handed pitcher/shortstop Conrad Cason (8th round).

In all, 16 of the 20 players selected by Boston in the 2024 MLB First-Year Player Draft have been signed to contracts, including each of the club's first nine selections.

All signees will report to Fort Myers, FL.
