Pirates Homestand Highlights Tuesday, June 4-Sunday, June 9, 2024
The Pirates return to PNC Park to open a six-game homestand beginning with a three-game series Tuesday against the Los Angeles Dodgers, followed by a three-game interleague series against the Minnesota Twins that gets underway Friday night.
Weekend highlights include Pride Night on Friday, followed by a Zambelli Fireworks show. On Saturday, Pirates fans are invited to arrive early to kick off an 80’s style celebration on Federal Street, followed by an 80’s t-shirt giveaway for the first 20,000 fans in the gates.
Tuesday, June 4, 2024– Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Pirates (6:40 p.m.)
- Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Night: Join us in celebrating the AAPI community on June 4 as the Pirates take on the Los Angeles Dodgers. - Lou Gehrig Day: Join us as we celebrate Lou Gehrig’s life and legacy and show our support to those living with and affected by ALS. Members of the ALS Association and Live Like Lou Foundation will be honored during pregame ceremonies and throughout the game. This special offer includes a donation to one of these two great organizations to support their ongoing work to aid individuals and families affected by this disease.
- Pup Night: Pup Nights presented by Bully Max. Tickets for Pup Night include a Rooftop ticket (Section 335-339) and a complimentary dog's ticket (limit one [1] dog per person per game). Friday, June 7, 2024– Minnesota Twins vs. Pirates (6:40 p.m.)
- Pride Night: Join us for our annual Pride Night at PNC Park, a celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community within the Pirates fan base, the Pittsburgh community, and all of Major League Baseball, presented by Duquesne Light Company. By purchasing a special game ticket to the Pirates Pride Night game, fans will receive an exclusive Pirates Pride "P" Bucket Hat and have the opportunity to make a donation to support local LGBTQIA+ nonprofit organizations in our community. - 80’s Night: Fans are invited to celebrate 80’s style at PNC Park. The first 20,000 fans take home an 80s themed Pirates t-shirt, featuring the Pirate Parrot, presented by Sugardale. Additionally, come join us for a pregame 80s costume contest on Federal Street at 1:30 p.m. The costume contest winner gets to throw out the first pitch for the game that afternoon.
- Pregame Block Party: Join us for a pregame 80s themed block party on Federal Street. Enjoy drink specials, Pirates alumni autographs, and entertainment, presented by Wigle Whiskey.
Sunday, June 9, 2024– Minnesota Twins vs. Pirates (1:35 p.m.)
- Family Fun Day: Pirates fans get to Federal Street early to enjoy the Family Fun Zone filled with activities for the whole family, presented by C&M Play Studio. Following the game, stay around for Kids Run the Bases, presented by Coen Markets.
- Eat'n Park Smiley Cookie Giveaway: All kids 14 & under get a free Eat'n Park Smiley Cookie.
- Scout Day: All scouts across Western PA and their families are invited to enjoy an exciting baseball game at the iconic PNC Park. This special event honors the commitment and adventures of our scouting community.
