Pirates Homestand Highlights Tuesday, July 2-Monday, July 8, 2024
The Pirates return to PNC Park to open a seven-game homestand beginning with a three-game divisional series against the St. Louis Cardinals, followed by a four-game series against the New York Mets.
Bucco Luau will be the theme for the weekend between the Pirates and Mets. Pirates fans in attendance can expect a variety of on-theme giveaways throughout the weekend including the fan-favorite Pirates Hawaiian shirt.
Tuesday, July 2, 2024– St. Louis Cardinals vs. Pirates (6:40 p.m.)
- Pittsburgh City League Champion Recognition: The Pirates will highlight Pittsburgh’s City League champions, Taylor Allerdice (softball), and Obama Academy (baseball), at PNC Park prior to the game.
- Lending Hearts Visit: Pirates Charities welcomes Kennedy Pavlisko and her family to PNC Park to enjoy a special pregame experience with David Bednar. Pavlisko will throw out the ceremonial first pitch to celebrate being cancer free. Bednar was recognized alongside Kennedy at the Lending Hearts Gala earlier this year for his support of Lending Hearts and their families.
- Pup Night: Pup Night presented by Bully Max. Tickets for Pup Night include a Rooftop ticket (Section 335-339) and a complimentary dog's ticket (limit one [1] dog per person per game). Seats are limited and subject to availability.
Wednesday, July 3, 2024– St. Louis Cardinals vs. Pirates (6:40 p.m.)
- Dollar Dog Night: Pirates fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs at select concessions stands, thanks to Sugardale.
- RBI Player of the Month Recognition: The Pirates will recognize three RBI athletes as “RBI Players of the Month” in a pregame ceremony. Ryan White, Simon Baldwin, and Noah Jameson will be honored for their athletic accomplishments. Each athlete will receive a custom Pirates jersey with their name and number on the back as part of this special moment. The Pirates RBI (Reviving Baseball and Softball in Inner Cities) program serves 2,000 athletes from teams across the city of Pittsburgh in partnership with CitiSport, a division of the mayor’s office.

Friday, July 5, 2024– New York Mets vs. Pirates (6:40 p.m.)
- Bucco Luau Weekend: Calling all Pirates fans, join us for Bucco Luau weekend at PNC Park, and enjoy some fun (baseball) in the sun, all weekend long, thanks to Levin Furniture.
- Pirates Bucket Hat Giveaway: The first 20,000 fans to enter PNC Park will take home a classic Pirates Bucket Hat to kick off Bucco Luau Weekend, presented by Levin Furniture.
- Miller Lite Happy Hour: Enjoy happy hour pregame at the Miller Lite Landing Bar and other locations for drink specials, games and more from the time gates open until first pitch.
Saturday, July 6, 2024– New York Mets vs. Pirates (4:05 p.m.)
- Pirates Hawaiian Shirt Giveaway: The first 20,000 fans to enter PNC Park will take home a Pirates Hawaiian Shirt to continue Bucco Luau Weekend, courtesy of Levin Furniture.
- Pregame Block Party: Join us for a pregame Bucco Luau themed block party on Federal Street. Enjoy drink specials, Pirates alumni autographs, and entertainment, presented by Wigle Whiskey.
Sunday, July 7, 2024– New York Mets vs. Pirates (1:35 p.m.)
- Kids Beach Towel Giveaway: Kids 14 & under, take home a Pirates Beach Towel, presented by Levin Furniture.

Monday, July 8, 2024 – New York Mets vs. Pirates (12:35 p.m.)
- Military Monday: Join us as we honor and recognize the brave men and women who have served our country and the local organizations that support military heroes throughout the region. During this game, the Pirates will recap a recent service project done in partnership with 84 Lumber, which benefited the Friends of Fisher House and the no-cost services they provide to families of veterans receiving care at the VA of Pittsburgh.
