Pirates announce on-sale of all remaining Spring Training tickets for the 2021 spring season

With the start of Spring Training games a little under a week away, the Pittsburgh Pirates today announced ticket information for the 2021 Spring Training season. The Club plans to host a limited number of fans for games to be played at LECOM Park. Ticket inventory is limited as Pirates Spring Training Season Ticket Holders had the first opportunity to purchase tickets during their special presale earlier this month.

Now, all remaining inventory for individual Spring Training game tickets will go on sale tomorrow, Wednesday, February 24, at 10 a.m. online at Pirates.com/springtraining, or by calling (877) 893-2827. Although online purchasing is encouraged, the LECOM Park Box Office will be open tomorrow beginning at 10 a.m. and Will Call tickets will be available for pick up at that time.

The Pirates are planning for approximately 25-percent capacity throughout the ballpark, with tickets being made available in seating pod allotments of two and four per transaction. All seating arrangements are being made in accordance with health and safety protocols with the recommended six feet distance between pods throughout the ballpark.

LECOM Park is slated to host 15 games this spring, starting with the Home Opener on March 2 vs. the Detroit Tigers. Fans will notice several important health and safety guidelines for the 2021 Spring season such as mandatory face coverings in-park at all times, unless actively eating and drinking, as well as a new bag policy that permits only medical and diaper bags to be brought into the ballpark.

New Season Ticket packages will not be available for the 2021 season due to the capacity limits and extensive health and safety protocols. The Pirates will continue to update the list of health and safety protocols, which can be found along with a full Spring Training schedule at Pirates.com/springtraining.

For more information on ticket on-sales or safety protocols at LECOM Park, please contact the LECOM Box Office at (941) 747-3031.
