Phillies announce roster moves

The Phillies announced the following roster moves:

Wilson, 29, has slashed .421/.439/.789 with a 1.228 OPS in 11 starts since being recalled from the IronPigs on July 12. In his second stint with the Phillies this season, he became the first rookie in franchise history to hit for the cycle on Aug. 15. Wilson was originally selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 17th round of the 2016 MLB Draft and was signed by the Phillies as a free agent on Jan. 3, 2023.

The 25-year-old Lazar is entering his second stint with the Phillies and made his major league debut on Aug. 10, posting six straight scoreless appearances (5.2 IP) to begin his career. He was signed by the Phillies as a minor league free agent on Dec. 8, 2023, and was originally selected by Milwaukee in the 11th round of the 2017 MLB Draft.

Allard, 27, has gone 2-0 with a 3.50 ERA (7 ER, 18.0 IP) in four games (three starts) across his two stints with the Phillies this year. He earned the win in his last two starts for the club and overall has only walked two batters. Originally selected by the Atlanta Braves in the first round (14th overall) of the 2015 MLB Draft, Allard signed with the Phillies as a free agent on Jan. 23, 2024.

The 25-year-old Kennedy was acquired by the Phillies from the Detroit Tigers on June 7 and slashed .313/.415/.543 with 19 doubles, one triple, nine home runs, 29 RBI, 34 walks, 39 runs scored and a .958 OPS in 56 games for Lehigh Valley since then. Kennedy appeared in six games for the Tigers to start the season, with his last major league appearance coming on April 27. The Millville High School graduate was originally selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the fifth round of the 2017 MLB Draft. He will wear No. 19.
