Legends Return for Toyota Phillies Alumni Weekend, August 16-18, Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Citizens Bank Park

The Phillies and Toyota are hosting a full lineup of fan events that feature on-field ceremonies, special guests, and more during Toyota Phillies Alumni Weekend, August 16-18, at Citizens Bank Park, taking place throughout the series against the Washington Nationals.

More than 40 former players are scheduled to make appearances throughout the weekend festivities (see player listing below). In addition, fans will be able to participate in an online Phillies Charities, Inc. auction featuring signed memorabilia by former and current players at phillies.com/auctions. Custom merchandise celebrating the 20th anniversary at Citizens Bank Park, including polos, t-shirts and novelty items, will also be available at the New Era Phillies Team Store.

Limited tickets for Toyota Phillies Alumni Weekend are available at phillies.com. Fans are encouraged to arrive at the ballpark early and follow the Phillies on social media for updates. Highlights will also be featured on game broadcasts.

ABOUT DAVID MONTGOMERY: A Philadelphia native who spent 48 years rising from ticket office representative to club president and CEO, Montgomery presided over a period of organizational success that included a then-National League record of 257 straight sellouts (2009-2012), as well as five consecutive NL East titles (2007-2011), back-to-back NL pennants (2008-2009) and the 2008 World Series championship.

Among his many accolades, Montgomery was honored by the National Baseball Hall of Fame with the prestigious Buck O’Neil Lifetime Achievement Award in 2020 for his extraordinary efforts to enhance baseball’s positive impact on society. Montgomery passed away after a five-year battle with cancer in May 2019.
