Monday, September 16 VS. Houston Astros @ 6:40 p.m.

The Padres return home from their 13th road trip of the 2024 season to start their 14th and final homestand as the club continues to celebrate Petco Park’s 20th Anniversary. The seven-day, six-game stretch begins today when the Houston Astros come to town. With large crowds anticipated, fans are encouraged to arrive early and consider utilizing the Trolley, COASTER or ride share to America’s #1 Ballpark. With just six home games remaining in the regular season, the Padres are calling on all fans to come cheer on the team at Petco Park as it makes a push for the postseason.

The Padres are celebrating Luis Arraez with his first-ever Padres Bobblehead, which is available exclusively through the purchase of a dedicated Theme Game Package (THEME GAME TICKET FOR MONDAY’S GAME IS SOLD OUT).

Monday is also Alzheimer’s Awareness Night at Petco Park. A limited-edition hat is available exclusively with the purchase of a dedicated Theme Game package at www.padres.com/themegames.

There will be a Salute to San Diego’s First Responders, including Canine First Responders, on Monday, which includes a baseline ceremony with approximately 80 first responders representing local, state and federal agencies, a flyover by a United States Customs & Border Protection Blackhawk Helicopter, and nine first responders will take the field with Padres starters prior to the game. Prior to the National Anthem, the Padres will honor the life and impact of San Diego Police Department Officer Austin Machitar with a Moment of Silence. The Padres will also recognize Deputy Maxwell Hammond from the San Diego Sherrif’s Office and Captain Mike Smith from the Bonita Fire Department as their Padres Heroes of the Day.

The 24th Annual Shirts Off Their Backs Fundraiser presented by Sycuan Casino Resort returns Monday through Sunday, September 22, giving fans the opportunity to win Padres autographed team-issued or game-used jerseys from their favorite players.

Season Ticket Members are encouraged to arrive early on Monday to watch the Padres take batting practice prior to the game. Members can enter through East Village Gate as early as 3:00 p.m., with select Members receiving a credential to sit in designated seating closer to the field. Custom Rawlings baseballs with golden stitches will be mixed in during Padres batting practice, and the lucky fans who catch or retrieve the golden balls will be able to redeem them for a replica Padres jersey of their choice at the Padres Team Store.

Wednesday’s game is highlighted by the Tatis Jr. Platinum Glove Bobblehead Giveaway presented by Canel’s. The first 40,000 fans in attendance will receive the final bobblehead of the season highlighting Fernando Tatis Jr. and his Platinum Glove robbing a home run.

Miscellaneous Theme Game items from earlier in the 2024 season will be available during a flash sale for $20-25 in Gallagher Square on a first-come, first-served basis.

Thursday, September 19

The Padres will enjoy an off day at home on Thursday before the final home series of the regular season begins Friday.

On Thursday evening, Padres starting pitcher Michael King and his wife, Sheila, are hosting the launch event for their new foundation, King of the Hill, with the mission of delaying or preventing the onset of Type 1 Diabetes and other autoimmune diseases by advancing and supporting innovative research and groundbreaking therapies. The launch event will take place at Singing Hills Golf Club at Sycuan from 6:00-9:00 p.m., and it will feature a silent and live auction, a short message from the founders and light bites and cocktails.

City Connect Friday returns as the Padres will wear their Nike San Diego City Connect jersey on the field Friday featuring iconic California imagery with the vibrant colors of the Baja peninsula, honoring a blend of cultures that makes the city so special. The jersey evokes a pink and yellow sunset dropping behind the Pacific Ocean on a clear summer day. The Padres House Band presented by Nova Kombucha returns Saturday and will perform on the Sycuan Stage at the brand-new Gallager Square prior to the game, featuring a mix of rock, oldies, pop and country music. Additionally, fans can enjoy discounted Nova Kombucha for $10.

To recognize and honor our Armed Forces, the Padres have partnered with USAA to bring a Military Appreciation Zone to Petco Park before every Sunday home game. Active-duty service members, veterans and their families, and USAA Members are invited to the USAA Military Appreciation Zone at the top of the Home Plate Gate stairs near section 100 pre-game from 11:00am-1:00pm every Sunday to enjoy food and drink specials starting at $5.

There will be a Military Salute to POW/MIA and Veterans on Sunday presented by USAA. During the pregame ceremonies, there will be a check presentation for $10,000 to the League of Wives Memorial, a flyover performed by MH-60-R helicopters from Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 78 “Blue Hawks,” and nine military veterans representing various branches of the armed forces will take the field with Padres starters as part of “Military Takes the Field.”
