MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – The Minnesota Twins open their final homestand of the regular season tomorrow, looking to secure an American League Wild Card spot and their second consecutive trip to the Major League Baseball Postseason in the regular season’s final week. This six-game homestand features series against Interleague foe the Miami Marlins (3 games; Tuesday, September 24-Thursday, September 26) and AL East opponent the Baltimore Orioles (3 games; Friday, September 27-Sunday, September 29).

This homestand features one theme night (Bark at the Park on Tuesday, September 24); three group events (German Heritage Night and Runners Night on Friday, September 27; and Irish Heritage Night on Saturday, September 28); three gate giveaways (Fan Appreciation Baseball Hat presented by Caribou Coffee on Friday, September 27 and Saturday, September 28; and Kids Appreciation Baseball Hat presented by Target on Sunday, September 29); and one Kids Day presented by Target (Sunday, September 29).
SATURDAY GAME TIME CHANGE
First pitch of the Saturday, September 28 game against Baltimore has been moved to 6:15 p.m., rather than the originally-scheduled 1:10 p.m., to accommodate a national broadcast on FOX Sports.
TWINS AND LYNX
The City of Minneapolis plays host to a big sports Wednesday on September 25, as the Twins play the Marlins at Target Field (6:40 p.m. first pitch) and the Minnesota Lynx host the Phoenix Mercury at Target Center for Game 2 of the first round of the WNBA playoffs (8:30 p.m. tipoff). The Twins encourage all fans to plan ahead, arrive early and consider all transportation options available, including pre-reserved, discounted Twins game day parking via SpotHero.
PABLO DAY
Whenever right-handed pitcher Pablo López starts at Target Field, fans can celebrate “Pablo Day” with the Twins’ Pablo Day Ticket Package; Pablo’s next start is slated for Friday, September 27 vs. the Orioles. Fans who purchase this package will receive a ticket to the game and an exclusive Pablo-themed jersey, which pays tribute to his Venezuelan roots (fans may choose either the yellow or red jersey). A portion of the proceeds of each package sold benefits local nonprofits Children’s Minnesota, Project Success and Ruff Start Rescue, which were all selected by Pablo and Kaylee López.

TWINS VS. MIAMI MARLINS: TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24 – THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 26 (3 GAMES)
Tuesday, September 24 vs. Miami Marlins (6:40 p.m.; gates open at 5:30 p.m.)
Theme Night – Bark at the Park: The Twins are letting the dogs out for the second time this season, with Target Field’s second-ever Bark at the Park! Fans who purchase this Theme Night package will receive a ticket to the game, a separate ticket for their dog and an exclusive Twins portable dog water bottle. A portion of the proceeds from each ticket package sold will benefit local nonprofit Can Do Canines, which is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities by creating mutually-beneficial partnerships with specially-trained dogs. Can Do Canines will also be recognized on the field prior to the game. Note: Limited Bark at the Park dog tickets remain and must be purchased online. This ticket package cannot be purchased day-of at Target Field.
Pregame Nonprofit Recognition: Local nonprofit Can Do Canines will be recognized on the field prior to the game, with organization staff, volunteers and service dogs present.
Twins x Thrivent At Bat for Impact: Through the Twins x Thrivent At Bat for Impact program, fans voted on featured nonprofits during home games at Target Field, learning about the powerful work they do while helping direct $200,000 to the 16 nonprofits via four voting cycles throughout the season. Cycle 4 focused on organizations that share a commitment to mentorship and empowering youth, featuring nonprofits Black Men Teach, Bolder Options, The JP4 Foundation and Pillsbury United Communities. The results of Cycle 4 will be announced, and all four featured nonprofits will be celebrated and presented with their respective donation amounts prior to Tuesday’s game against the Marlins. Note: in-game voting has concluded for the 2024 regular season.
Firefighter Appreciation Night: Tuesday is Firefighter Appreciation Night at Target Field! A donation of $5 from every ticket sold through this special offer will be given to the Minneapolis Fire Foundation. Additional activations include:
Target Plaza Firetruck: A fully-loaded firetruck will be on Target Plaza beginning at 4:30 p.m.
Ceremonial First Pitch: A ceremonial first pitch will be thrown out by Minneapolis Fire Chief Bryan Tyner.
Minneapolis Fire Foundation: Steve Shapira, the founder of the Minneapolis Fire Foundation, will have an information booth set up on the Main Concourse at Section 117.

- Pablo Day Check Presentation: For each of Pablo López’s home starts from May through September of this season, fans have had the opportunity to purchase a ticket package that includes a ticket to the game and a Pablo-themed jersey. A portion of the proceeds of each package sold benefits local nonprofits Children’s Minnesota, Project Success and Ruff Start Rescue. Prior to Wednesday’s game against the Marlins, a check presentation featuring representatives from all three nonprofits will take place on the field.
- Ceremonial First Pitch – St. Louis Park Little League: A ceremonial first pitch will be thrown out by the Louis Park 12-year-old All-Stars, who won the Minnesota State Championship and qualified for the Midwest Regional tournament for the first time since 1979.
- Ceremonial First Pitch – Jonah Marais: Stillwater native and rising pop star Jonah Marais will throw out a ceremonial first pitch, prior to his first solo hometown show at Fine Line in Minneapolis on Thursday.
- Ceremonial First Pitch – Filmmakers: Woodbury natives and filmmakers Adam Schindler and Brian Netto will throw out ceremonial first pitches prior to Wednesday’s game against the Marlins, in recognition of their next film “Don’t Move”, which will be released by Netflix on October 25.

National Broadcast: Saturday’s game against the Orioles will be broadcast nationally on FOX Sports.
Childhood Cancer Awareness Month: The Twins will continue their recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month during Saturday’s game against Baltimore.
Nonprofit Recognition: The Twins will host and honor three childhood cancer nonprofits – Children’s Minnesota, the Pinky Swear Foundation and Masonic Children’s Hospital.
Starting Lineup: A special starting lineup will feature three kids from each of the nonprofits; the kids will then form a tunnel for the Twins to run through as they take the field.
Ceremonial First Pitch/Target Ball Kid: A ceremonial first pitch will be thrown out by a child from Children’s Minnesota, and another child from the same organization will be the Target Ball Kid. Children’s Minnesota will also have a table set up on Target Plaza outside Gate 29 with information on how to help the fight against childhood cancer.
Play Ball Kids: The two Correa Family Foundation Heroes of the Month will be the play ball kids.

Tommy Watkins Scholarship Presentation: Prior to Sunday’s game, St. Paul native and Twins Nike RBI standout Eric Cain will be presented with a $5,000 college scholarship from Twins coach Tommy Watkins and the Tommy Watkins Foundation. Over the past three years, Eric has been a standout player on his team, inspiring his peers with not only his skill on the field, but his dedication and skills off it.
Kids Appreciation Day presented by Target: The Twins organization is proud to celebrate and thank the youngest fans in Twins Territory with Kids Appreciation Day presented by Target.
The first 5,000 fans 12 and under will receive a Kids Appreciation Twins Baseball Hat presented by Target.
The Twins will distribute 5,000 special “Twins Pull Tabs” to fans 12 and under, with the chance to win one of several fun prizes!

National Baseball Hall of Famer and Twins legend Tony Oliva will be at Bullseye’s Backyard from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. to visit with fans.
