Mariners announce updated 2021 Spring Training schedule

The Seattle Mariners today announced an updated 2021 Cactus League schedule featuring 14 home games at the Peoria Sports Complex and 14 road games (including one against the San Diego Padres at Peoria) for a total of 28 Spring Training games.

Under the revised schedule, which was created with health and safety considerations in mind, all Cactus League Clubs will play 28 games across 30 days with two off days. The Mariners open the spring campaign on Sunday, February 28, against the Padres at the Peoria Sports Complex.

Of the 28 games on the Mariners spring schedule, 16 are day games (with start times at either noon or 1:00 p.m.) and 12 games start at 5:05 p.m. or later, with 10 of the final 15 games starting after 6:00 p.m.

The Mariners will meet American League West Division rivals a total of six times with home and road games against the Texas Rangers, Oakland Athletics and Los Angeles Angels. Other highlights of the Mariners home schedule include:

The Mariners open the 2021 regular season at T-Mobile Park against the Giants on Thursday, April 1 (7:10 p.m.).

Radio & TV

Mariners broadcast partners 710 ESPN Seattle and ROOT SPORTS will provide coverage of Spring Training games on radio and TV. On radio, 27 games will be broadcast, with select mid-week day games delayed for air until 7:00 p.m.

All games scheduled to be carried on radio will be streamed live on Mariners.com.
