Los Angeles Dodgers and Tsukiji Gindaco announce multi-year partnership
LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers have entered into a multi-year agreement with Tsukiji Gindaco, through which the Tokyo-based food provider will become a Proud Partner of the Dodgers.
As part of this arrangement, Tsukiji Gindaco is offering their Takoyaki at Dodger Stadium with a Tsukiji Gindaco concession stand that is unlike any seen in the ballpark’s 62-year history.
“Tsukiji Gindaco marks a valued addition to the Dodgers’ partnership family,” said Lon Rosen, Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer, Los Angeles Dodgers. “The company’s easy-to-eat Takoyaki is already a hit among Dodger fans, emblematic of a burgeoning relationship between our two organizations and brands.”
Since 2008, Tsukiji Gindaco's bite-size Takoyaki has become a popular staple at baseball stadiums throughout Japan, including the Tokyo Dome. A speciality, "Zettai Umai‼ Takoyaki," is crispy on the outside and creamy inside, with carefully selected octopus with springy palatability in the middle.
"We at Tsukiji Gindaco are truly delighted to be a part of the Dodgers family, as the first leading Japanese fast food shop to open a location in Dodger Stadium in decades,” said Morio Sase Tsukiji, Gindaco founder. “We look forward to this partnership and will continue to work with the Dodgers to create a brand that will be loved by Dodger fans and people around the world."
